American super-clan Deathrow flew in thinking they were unbeatable, but got their nose bloodied and then their back broken 8 games to 2. Thresh and DR whining about jet lag notwithstanding, they couldn't hold a candle to 9's teamplay, and never had the stomach to carry through on a rematch. A true Battle of the Titans, the matched marked the beginning of 9's world-wide dominance, and the start of the the fading-away of Deathrow. |
